Pancake Estate was established in 1995 by Diana Laidlaw AM and her father, when she retired from the hectic world of South Australian politics. The Pancake vineyard was established on a small flat top amongst the rolling peaks and valleys on her sister's property in the Barossa Hills overlooking the beautiful Barossa Valley floor.

Make by renowned Barossan winemakers Colin and Ben Glaezer this is an elegant style with good acidity and chalky tannins, which has integrated well, picking up some generosity and complexity with additional bottle age.

A classic Barossan shiraz which has the potential to age up to 10 years, matured in American oak for 15 months, is full flavoured with soft tannins, and we think is ideal for enjoying right now. Alc approx 14%.
