Mayerling Cellars Reserve Grenache 2005

Supplied exclusively for Mayerling Cellars, McLaren Vale has long been acknowledged as the premium region for production of this underrated variety. One of the major components in wines from the Rhone Valley, Grenache exhibits delightful spice, pepper, chocolate and warmth on the palate. This has a little age, but will reward with cellaring. Like it's French cousins, this is best enjoyed with a hearty beef casserole or grilled lamb shanks.
